Becky G opened up about her connection with BTS member J-Hope and shared behind the scenes moments from their Lollapalooza performance.
She revealed that they prepared a surprise appearance for the event, explaining, “Everyone expected I would come out with J-Hope”.
To make the moment more unexpected, she sent a photo pretending she was at home, leading fans to believe she would not appear. She then surprised the audience by showing up during the performance.
Becky G also recalled J-Hope’s feelings before going on stage, saying, “J-Hope was really nervous.” It was shared that he expressed concern by saying, “I’m so excited, but I’m worried because I’m not good at English.”
In response, Becky G comforted him by saying, “It’s okay. I’m not good at Korean either. We speak the same language, music,” adding that music “brings us all together.”
She also shared that she has invited J-Hope to a traditional gathering with close friends and family, but he was unable to attend due to his military service.
Becky G added that she continues to invite him, showing their ongoing friendship.
