BTS is gaining attention after one track from their latest album unexpectedly failed to enter the Billboard Hot 100, despite meeting strong performance indicators.

The song “No.29,” included in BTS’s album ‘Arirang’, became a hot topic after reports stated that 13 out of 14 tracks from the album successfully entered the Hot 100 chart, while only this track did not.

According to a US chart analysis outlet, the song had enough data to qualify but may have been excluded due to factors such as “lack of lyrics” and its short length.

However, the outlet also noted that even shorter songs have entered the chart before, making the situation more confusing.

The track is unique as it uses the actual sound of the historic Emille Bell (National Treasure No. 29), created through a collaboration aimed at promoting Korean cultural heritage.

Following the result, global fans expressed disappointment, with some launching a hashtag campaign like “#JusticeForNo29” to call attention to the issue.

Meanwhile, BTS continues to show strong chart performance, as their title track “SWIM” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking their 7th time topping the chart.
