BTS member Jungkook is once again dominating global charts with a song released over two years ago.
“Please Don’t Change,” a B side track from his first solo album GOLDEN released in November 2023, has returned to No. 1 on both the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart and the European Song Chart dated February 26.
With this achievement, Jungkook became the first Asian artist in 2026 to top both charts with a B side track. Despite being released more than two years ago, the song surpassed several new releases to claim the No. 1 position, showing its strong staying power.

The track also ranked No. 1 on iTunes Song Charts in 23 countries, including Brazil, Germany, Russia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Spain, and Saudi Arabia. In the United States, it reached No. 5 on the iTunes chart.
On the same day, Jungkook’s album GOLDEN re entered the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart at No. 18 and the European Album Chart at No. 46.

The album has spent a total of 441 days and 234 days on the charts, marking the longest charting record for a K pop solo album.
In addition, Jungkook’s self composed song “Still with you” ranked No. 1 in four countries and entered charts in 27 countries. He also rose 199 spots to No. 41 on the Global Digital Artist Ranking dated February 26.
“Please Don’t Change” has now surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify, becoming the fifth track from GOLDEN to achieve the milestone. With strong rankings across multiple platforms, Jungkook continues to show his global impact as a solo artist.
