“Monster rookie” Cortis is proving their power early, earning major spots on global year-end charts and sweeping rookie awards.
Their debut album intro track ‘GO!’ was picked for Apple Music’s “Best Songs of 2025,” a list of the top 100 songs released worldwide. Cortis became the only K-pop boy group included beside global stars like Sabrina Carpenter and Lady Gaga. Apple Music also praised the track for expressing “joy and success.”
The song continued its rise by ranking No. 10 on Spotify’s “2025 Best K-Pop” list, selected by platform editors and the official “K-Pop ON!” playlist. Cortis is also the only rookie group this year to make the chart.
International media also took notice. NME named ‘GO!’ as No. 25 on its “25 Best K-pop Songs of 2025” list, praising Cortis for their “unwavering confidence.”
Their strong numbers extend beyond charts. The group’s debut album “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” reached 1.19 million sales on the latest Circle Chart weekly update and surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify.
With these impressive achievements, Cortis earned the Best New Artist award at the 2025 MAMA Awards and won two titles—AAA Rookie of the Year and AAA Best Performance—at the AAA 2025 ceremony.
Cortis is quickly rising as one of the strongest rookies of the year, dominating both charts and year-end award shows.
