Lee Junho’s ‘Typhoon Family’ dominates drama reputation charts even after finale, Kim Yoo Jung’s ‘Dear X’ takes 2nd place

2PM member and actor Lee Junho continues to prove his popularity as his drama Typhoon Family claims the top spot in drama brand reputation rankings, even after the series ended.

According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute’s December 2025 analysis, Typhoon Family ranked 1st, followed by Kim Yoo Jung’s Dear X in 2nd, and Dynamite Kiss in 3rd place.

The institute analyzed over 60 million pieces of brand big data from 20 popular dramas between November 9 and December 9, 2025.

They measured consumer engagement, media attention, communication, brand spread, and viewing metrics. This marked a 4.71% increase from November’s 57 million data points.

The brand reputation index uses big data and consumer behavior analysis, including engagement, communication, media, social, and viewing values. This allows researchers to see where, how, and why audiences are talking about each drama.

Top 5 drama brand reputation rankings for December 2025:

  1. Typhoon Family – 7,172,545 points (engagement 1,986,373; media 1,363,834; communication 1,665,552; community 1,094,101; viewing 1,062,685)
  2. Dear X – 5,110,176 points (engagement 2,090,717; media 593,600; communication 958,531; community 944,650; viewing 522,679)
  3. Dynamite Kiss – 4,416,952 points (engagement 1,548,814; media 534,007; communication 864,302; community 740,778; viewing 729,051)
  4. Moon River – 3,832,058 points (engagement 1,092,938; media 832,527; communication 849,017; community 377,953; viewing 679,624)
  5. The Dream Life of Mr. Kim – 3,660,395 points (engagement 542,864; media 513,105; communication 801,373; community 999,860; viewing 803,192)

Director Koo Chang Hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute explained, “Typhoon Family topped the December 2025 drama brand rankings. Compared to November, brand big data increased by 4.71%.

Brand consumption rose 14.18%, communication increased 9.32%, while brand issues slightly decreased 16.24%, and brand spread was steady.”

He added, “Link analysis for Typhoon Family showed strong associations with ‘brilliant,’ ‘growth,’ and ‘rediscovery.’ Popular keywords included ‘Lee Junho,’ ‘Kang Taepung,’ and ‘moving ending,’ with positive sentiment at 92.82%.”

The December 2025 brand reputation analysis covered dramas including Typhoon Family, Dear X, Dynamite Kiss, Moon River, The Dream Life of Mr. Kim, Heroes Next Door, Annoying Love, Taxi Driver 3, A Graceful Liar, The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun, As You Stood By, Space Mary Me, Glorious Days, Fragmented City, Don’t Call Me Ma’am, Marie and Her Three Daddies, Ms. Incognito, Last Summer, Genie, Make a Wish, and Rapid Current.
