Rookie group CORTIS is making waves in K-pop and beyond, proving they are one of the year’s most promising new artists.

According to the latest Billboard chart released on November 11 (dated November 15), CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) ranked 6th on the World Albums chart with their debut album ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES’. The album first entered the chart at 15th place on September 20 and has now stayed on the chart for 9 consecutive weeks.

The group’s achievement shows that their music has connected with fans worldwide, breaking language barriers. All the members took part in creating the songs, performances, and music videos, highlighting CORTIS as a young creator crew bringing fresh energy to K-pop.

Their debut album has also made a huge impact domestically, surpassing 960,000 cumulative sales on the Circle Chart for October — the highest among all rookies who debuted this year. Considering that none of the members came from audition programs or had previous debut experience, this is an extraordinary accomplishment. Fans are now eagerly watching to see if the album will become their first million-seller.

CORTIS is set to continue their rising success by performing at major year-end award shows, including the ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS’ on November 28–29 at Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium and the ‘10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025’ on December 6 at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan, cementing their place as one of the hottest rookie groups of 2025.
