ENHYPEN has once again shown their strong power in Japan with their latest achievement.
On November 12, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) announced that ENHYPEN’s fourth Japanese single, ‘YOI’, has officially surpassed 750,000 shipments as of October, earning a Triple Platinum certification — the group’s first ever.
This milestone marks a new personal record for ENHYPEN. The RIAJ awards certifications each month based on shipment totals: Gold (100,000), Platinum (250,000), Double Platinum (500,000), and Triple Platinum (750,000).
Released on July 29, ‘YOI’ previously earned a Double Platinum certification after selling over 500,000 copies in just three days. Only three months later, it has now reached Triple Platinum, proving the group’s continuous popularity in Japan.
The single also became ENHYPEN’s first Japanese release to surpass half a million copies in its first week, topping major charts such as Oricon’s Daily and Weekly Single Rankings and Billboard Japan’s Top Single Sales.
With this achievement, ENHYPEN now owns a total of 15 RIAJ-certified records — including one Triple Platinum, two Double Platinum, six Platinum, and seven Gold certifications.
Fans continue to show their love and support as ENHYPEN prepares to celebrate their 5th debut anniversary with a special event, ‘ENHYPEN 5th ENniversary Night’, on November 22 at Lotte World Adventure in Seoul, together with 3,000 fans (ENGENE).
