ENHYPEN officially teams up with Samyang Foods for MEP, raising expectations for another worldwide spicy ramen craze

ENHYPEN has been chosen as the very first global ambassador for Samyang Foods’ rising brand MEP, drawing attention as the company sets its sights on creating the “second Buldak” sensation.

On October 1, Belift Lab announced that members Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-Ki will represent the global K-food brand, which was launched late last year and takes inspiration from Korea’s love for “spicy” flavors.

Fans have already seen ENHYPEN’s special bond with ramen, with Heeseung’s viral “Egg Cloud Ramen” becoming a hot topic online.

The collaboration feels natural, and the first teaser and main commercial — released on September 27 and October 1 — received strong reactions for blending MEP products seamlessly into the members’ daily lives while showing off their individual charms.

Sharing their excitement, ENHYPEN said, “As the first global ambassador for the MEP brand, we want to leave a good first impression on many people. We will continue to promote the delicious taste of MEP products through various activities.”
