MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul has fans buzzing after she shared a never-before-told story from her early debut days.
On September 26, the Just Lee Mi Joo YouTube channel released a new video featuring Lee Mi Joo, Moonbyul, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, KARA’s Heo Young Ji, and Oh My Girl’s Hyojung.
The idols gathered to talk about their behind-the-scenes experiences and restrictions they faced during promotions.
While chatting, Hyojung revealed that she and her members even had to go to the bathroom in pairs, saying, “We had to go holding hands. We were only allowed to go to the bathroom if there were at least two members together.”

Seulgi added with a laugh, “I remember Oh My Girl seemed so young back then, they would still have to hold hands and ask, ‘Manager-nim, can we go to the bathroom?’”
The topic soon turned to the possibility of receiving notes, with Seulgi asking, “Wait, do those notes really exist?” Hyojung quickly said, “I’ve never received one!”

That’s when Moonbyul surprised everyone with her confession: “But I did receive a note. This is my first time talking about it. It wasn’t at a broadcasting station. I got it at a hair salon through the staff — it had an email address written on it.”
She added that she even contacted the idol, saying, “I didn’t realize what it meant. I thought it just meant let’s be friends,” before revealing the person was an older male idol.

Seulgi couldn’t hide her excitement and said, “We should find out which oppas were promoting back then!”
