
WJSN (Cosmic Girls) member Dayoung is proving that her time as a solo artist was truly meant to be.
On September 9, Dayoung released her first solo album gonna love me, right? and has been promoting both her title track body and b-side number one rockstar.
Known for her bright and playful energy as part of WJSN and unit WJSN Chocome, she shocked fans by showing a whole new side—transforming into a confident “Hot girl” for her solo debut.

Her title track body highlights her passion and determination, with fans praising her ability to handle vocals, rap, and performance all at once while owning the stage completely by herself.
Dayoung revealed she spent three years preparing for this moment, even losing 12kg along the way. She shared, “For the first two years, I spent time polishing myself so I wouldn’t miss the opportunity when it came. This past year, I gave everything I had.”
Now in her 10th year since debut, Dayoung personally designed every part of her album—from the concept and songs to the music video.


On September 23, she proudly won 1st place on SBS funE’s The Show and tearfully said, “I really wanted to be loved, and I’m so thankful that you gave me that love.”
