Park Bo Gum is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the hit KBS drama Love in the Moonlight by looking back on special memories with Kim Yoo Jung and the rest of the cast.
On August 22, Park Bo Gum shared several behind-the-scenes photos from the drama on social media along with the message, “Then, now, and always, ‘Love in the Moonlight.’”
The photos showed Park Bo Gum wearing his memorable royal hanbok and smiling with Kim Yoo Jung during filming. In one image, the two posed closely together, bringing back memories of their popular chemistry as Crown Prince Lee Young and Hong Ra On.
Park Bo Gum also shared playful photos with fellow cast members Kwak Dong Yeon, Jinyoung, and Chae Soo Bin, showing the close atmosphere behind the scenes.
Another photo featured a special anniversary cake carrying the message, “Congratulations, forever ‘Love in the Moonlight,’ on your 10th anniversary.”
Originally broadcast in 2016, Love in the Moonlight became one of KBS’s biggest romantic historical dramas and reached a peak nationwide rating of 23.3%.
To celebrate the milestone, the main cast will reunite for the upcoming KBS2 special variety program Moonlight Drawn Again.
The program will feature Park Bo Gum, Kim Yoo Jung, Jinyoung, Chae Soo Bin, and Kwak Dong Yeon taking a two-day, one-night trip together and revisiting memories from the drama.
The reunion reportedly came together after Park Bo Gum suggested doing something meaningful for the drama’s 10th anniversary, with the other cast members agreeing despite their busy schedules.
The cast recently completed filming in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, bringing together the stars of Love in the Moonlight nearly a decade after the drama first became a major hit.
Moonlight Drawn Again is scheduled to premiere on September 16 on KBS2.
