BTS’s Jungkook is proving once again why he is one of the strongest soloists in the world.

His debut single Seven, released in July 2023, climbed to No. 75 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart (September 12–18), marking its 114th consecutive week on the chart. This makes it the first song by an Asian solo artist to hold such a long streak.

His first solo album GOLDEN, released in November 2023, also ranked 72nd on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart for the same period.

With 98 consecutive weeks on the chart, GOLDEN has become the first and longest-charting album by an Asian soloist and is now on track to hit the 100-week milestone.

The achievements don’t stop there. Seven has now surpassed 2.55 billion streams — the first time ever for an Asian artist — while GOLDEN has reached over 6.1 billion streams, also the first for an Asian soloist.

Jungkook’s Spotify profile, counting all credits, has reached a massive 9.6 billion streams, making him the fastest Asian artist and the first K-pop soloist to hit this mark.

Jungkook has also joined Spotify’s Billions Club with four songs (3D, Seven, Standing Next to You, and Left and Right), each surpassing 1 billion streams.

In addition, he now holds 19 songs with over 100 million streams, another record as the first and only K-pop soloist to achieve it.

Meanwhile, Seven continues to make history on Billboard as well, staying for 113 and 114 consecutive weeks on the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts — setting yet another milestone for an Asian solo artist.
