Actor Song Seung Heon is facing a painful time after the passing of his beloved mother.
On September 21, his agency King Kong by Starship shared the sad news with the media, saying, “Today, actor Song Seung Heon’s mother passed away."
They added, "Because of this, the interview for Genie TV’s original drama 'My Troublesome Star', which was scheduled for the 25th, has been inevitably canceled. We kindly ask for your understanding.”
His mother passed away at the age of 77. The funeral hall has been set up at Room 17 of the Samsung Seoul Hospital Funeral Home, and all procedures will be held privately with close family.
The burial will take place on September 23 at 9:30 a.m. The first resting place will be at Seoul Memorial Park, followed by Bukhan River Park.
The agency also asked for support during this difficult time, saying, “We ask for warm condolences and comfort for Song Seung Heon and his family.”
Meanwhile, Song Seung Heon is currently appearing in the Genie TV drama My Troublesome Star, where he plays the role of Dok Go Cheol.
