The soundtrack of Netflix’s K-pop Demon Hunters (KDH) is making history on the U.S. Billboard charts.
On September 15 (local time), Billboard revealed that the OST song “Golden” has ranked No.1 on the Hot 100 singles chart for five straight weeks.
Earlier in the week, the KDH soundtrack also claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
This marks the first time in about five years that a K-pop project has topped both the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 at the same time, a feat last achieved by BTS in December 2020.
Billboard also shared that “Golden” has been No.1 on the Streaming Songs chart for 8 weeks, climbed to No.20 on the Radio Songs chart, and placed 3rd on the Digital Song Sales chart — proving its global popularity.
