Song Joong Ki is embracing compliments about his youthful looks as he gets older.
On September 10, the YouTube channel Narae-sik featured Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee, the lead stars of the new drama My Youth.
When asked by Park Na Rae if they knew each other before working on the project, Chun Woo Hee explained, “We only greeted each other in passing but never really worked together. This is our first project together.” She added that she was happy to finally meet him through a “first-love type” role.
Park Na Rae then praised the two for their fresh visuals, saying, “People often say you both look like you’re in your early to mid-20s.” Chun Woo Hee shyly responded, “Oh no, that’s too much,” but couldn’t hide her smile.
Born in 1985, Song Joong Ki admitted he now enjoys those compliments more than ever. He said, “In the past, I would just brush it off, but now that I’m older, I really like hearing it. Please say it more often.”
Park Na Rae, who is the same age, agreed with a laugh, “Yes, once you hit your 40s, hearing that feels so thankful.”
