CORTIS celebrated their debut in a big way, proving their rising global impact.
On September 8, the group (Martin, James, Joo Hoon, Sung Hyun, Gun Ho) held their CORTIS The 1st EP [COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES] RELEASE PARTY at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul.
The special event was also streamed live through Weverse, HYBE Labels’ official YouTube channel, and TikTok, connecting fans from 190 countries and regions including Korea, the U.S., Japan, and Indonesia.
During the 2-hour show, the members performed every track from their debut album, kicking things off with the first-ever stage of FaSHioN before raising the excitement with GO! and their powerful title track What You Want.
Fans were treated to large-scale performances, flawless live vocals, and even surprise encores as the members filled the stage with energy and passion.
CORTIS also opened up about their trainee days and shared self-produced content like videos, skits, and music clips, showing their identity as a “young creator crew” who take part in making their own music, choreography, and visuals.
As the night came to an end, the members grew emotional, thanking fans with teary eyes:
“We’ve worked so hard to see this amazing scene. It feels like a blessing to stand here. Thank you so much to our fans. It’s only been three weeks since our debut, but please stay with us for the many days ahead.”
CORTIS, launched under HYBE’s BigHit Music as their first new group in six years, will continue promotions with the release of a performance film for FaSHioN on September 9, followed by their official music show stages starting September 11 on M Countdown.
