Joo Ji Hoon recently showed his playful side when the topic of him being one of Korea’s “most talkative actors” came up.

On August 27, the YouTube channel Jo Jjae Jeu uploaded a new video featuring the actor.

During their chat, Jo Jjae Jeu, who is close with Joo Ji Hoon, said, “I’ve spent about a year and a half with you, and whenever you talk about acting…”

Before he could finish, Joo Ji Hoon quickly jumped in, joking, “If we start talking about that, we’ll have to stay up for three or four days straight.”

Jo Jjae Jeu also recalled, “Not long ago, you told me something that really stuck with me: ‘Honestly, other than acting, I’m not really good at anything else.’”

The actor then clarified, “Not just ‘not really,’ I mean nothing. You know how there are singers who aren’t professionals but can still sing well? I’ve never once heard a ‘wow’ when I tried boxing, cycling, or anything else. I’m just lucky and grateful that people give me awards and that audiences like me, so I can make a living.”

He added, “But you can’t just live only for work, right? The truth is, I don’t have many other skills. If I think positively, at least I have the right skills for my job. But honestly, my abilities in other things are really low.”

The conversation then turned to the funny “Too Much Talker” label, where Jo Jjae Jeu brought up the list: “Kim Nam Gil, Joo Ji Hoon, Yoon Kyung Ho — the three most talkative men in Korea.”

Laughing, Joo Ji Hoon said, “Let me clear this up right here on YouTube. Do you know where most of the articles saying ‘Joo Ji Hoon talks more than Kim Nam Gil’ come from? About 90% come from that side. I never even said anything.” His joking defense made everyone laugh.

When asked what would happen if a real talk show with the three of them happened, he admitted, “There’s no way I could beat Nam Gil hyung.” As for Yoon Kyung Ho, he added, “At least Kyung Ho hyung is a bit more reasonable.”

Finally, when asked what Kim Nam Gil means to him, Joo Ji Hoon paused for a moment and then said warmly, “I’m glad he’s my hyung.”
