Netflix’s animated film K-pop Demon Hunters (KDH) is proving to be a massive success, especially on the Billboard charts.
According to Billboard’s latest update on the 19th (local time), 8 songs from the KDH OST entered the Hot 100 for the chart dated the 23rd, continuing their streak from last week. This marks the 6th consecutive week that KDH tracks have charted on the Hot 100.
Among them, Golden by the in-film group Huntrix, which claimed No.1 last week, dropped just one spot to No.2. Meanwhile, Your Idol by Saja Boys ranked No.4. Both songs have now stayed on the chart for 8 consecutive weeks.
Other placements include Soda Pop by Saja Boys at No.10, How It’s Done by Huntrix at No.14, What It Sounds Like by Huntrix at No.24, Free by Huntrix’s Lumi at No.25, and Takedown by Huntrix at No.26.
Adding to the excitement, a special version of Takedown sung by TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung entered the Hot 100 at No.60.
The KDH OST album itself is also holding strong, securing the No.2 spot on the Billboard 200 for the second week in a row. On top of that, Golden continues to dominate globally, holding its No.1 position on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) charts.
