BTS leader RM is opening up about how he approaches art and exhibitions — and his words are making fans think.

On August 14, RM appeared in a videoon the official YouTube channel of fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar.

In the clip, RM shared his personal tips for visiting exhibitions. “One way is to understand the artist and the exhibition’s outline first, and then have an intellectual experience. It’s difficult, but it’s the most ideal way”, he said.

His next tips were all about appreciating beauty and indulging in the experience.

“When I was traveling in Europe, I realized that I was looking at works by Van Gogh and Monet simply because they were beautiful”, RM shared.

He added, “It’s also not bad to enjoy the feeling of being someone who goes to exhibitions. All intellectual exploration starts from vanity.”

RM also graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar’s September issue in collaboration with Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta, perfectly pulling off the brand’s sophisticated and contemporary style with his own charisma.
