Song Seung Heon reveals why his relationships never worked and Yoo Jae Suk doesn’t hold back.
On August 2, top actor Song Seung Heon opened up about his past relationship struggles during a fun but honest interview on the YouTube channel Ddeun Ddeun.
In a segment called “conflict type,” Song Seung Heon took a personality test and was asked how he handles fights. “Honestly, I avoid them,” he admitted.
“If I argue with my girlfriend one day and meet her the next, I’ll just act like nothing happened. But she’s still upset, and she ends up thinking, ‘What’s wrong with this guy?’”

MC Yoo Jae Suk then asked, “When are you the happiest?” Without hesitation, Song answered, “When I hang out with my middle and high school friends. They don’t treat me like a celebrity. I feel like I can just be myself around them.”
He added that most of his friends are married now, so they don’t meet as often — making those rare moments extra special.
But that’s also where the trouble started in his past relationships.

Song shared, “Whenever I had a girlfriend, she’d ask, ‘Why do you like your friends more than me?’ I just wanted her to join me when I hung out with them. But eventually, she’d say, ‘Why did we always have to be with your friends?’ That caused a lot of fights.”
Yoo Jae Suk responded honestly, saying, “When your girlfriend seems to get along with your friends, you might think she’s enjoying it too. But actually, it’s just you feeling comfortable — you’re not thinking about how she feels.”
Then Yoo asked with a smile, “So if you had a girlfriend now, you wouldn’t do that again, right?”
Song Seung Heon jokingly replied, “I guess I’ll just stop seeing my friends,” making everyone laugh.
The clip gave fans a relatable and humorous peek into Song Seung Heon’s dating life — and reminded viewers that even heartthrobs struggle with love and communication, too.
