Singer and actress Jang Nara is making headlines as she becomes the first-ever female "youngest" member on House on Wheels 5!

On July 30, an exclusive report from Star News revealed that Jang Nara has officially joined tvN’s popular variety show House on Wheels, which is returning for season 5 after a three-year break.

House on Wheels is a healing reality show where cast members live in a cozy portable home and invite special guests to spend quality time in nature. The show originally began airing in 2020 and has released four seasons so far, each time featuring a new “youngest” member who brings fresh energy to the group.

In past seasons, male stars like Yeo Jin Goo, Im Si Wan, Gong Myung, and Rowoon took on the role of the youngest alongside longtime main cast Sung Dong Il and Kim Hee Won.

But this time, for House on Wheels 5, Jang Nara is stepping in as the first female and oldest “youngest” member! Born in 1981, she’s 45 years old, and yet she’s still the maknae (youngest) among the cast, since Sung Dong Il is 59 and Kim Hee Won is 55.

Despite having over 25 years in the industry and a long list of hit dramas and songs, Jang Nara will now show off her variety skills in a new way. Fans are already excited to see what kind of fun chemistry she’ll bring to the trio.

To make things even more exciting, House on Wheels 5 will be filmed in Japan, with the cast flying out at the end of August. The show is expected to air sometime in the second half of this year.

Meanwhile, Jang Nara tied the knot in June 2022 with Jung Ha Chul, a drama filming director who worked on SBS’s VIP. He is six years younger than her.

Stay tuned to see Jang Nara take on the role of youngest in this fun new season of House on Wheels!
