Model-actor Lee Soo Hyuk surprised fans by sharing a unique and unexpected tequila pairing—one he first tried with close friend G-Dragon while in Paris!
On July 30, Lee Soo Hyuk appeared with Oh My Girl’s Arin on Park Na Rae’s YouTube show, where they promoted their WAVVE original drama S Line and enjoyed some casual conversation with the host.
During the talk, Lee Soo Hyuk brought out a special bottle of tequila from Paris as a gift and revealed a tasting tip he learned overseas—thanks to G-Dragon.
“Most people drink tequila with salt and lemon, right?” he began. “But when I went to Paris, Jiyong (G-Dragon) told me about something different. A star I really like also did it. They paired tequila with orange slices and cinnamon powder. At first I thought, ‘Why would you do that?’ But it was actually good.”
Lee Soo Hyuk went on to explain the technique: “You dip the orange in cinnamon so much that you can’t even see the orange anymore. Sounds weird, right? We thought so too. But the more you dip it, the better it tastes.”Park Na Rae was suspicious at first, joking that it might be spicy or a prank. But after trying it, she was blown away.
“This is the best pairing I’ve tasted in the past two years,” she said. “The unique alcohol smell of tequila gets balanced out so well by the cinnamon and orange.”
