The hype for KPop Demon Hunters is getting real — with three songs from the movie’s soundtrack making it onto the UK Official Singles Chart all at once!
According to the UK chart released on July 25, the track “GOLDEN” by fictional girl group HUNTRIX climbed to No. 4, rising five spots from the previous week. The song originally debuted at No. 93 and has been charting strong for five straight weeks.
Also making waves, “Your Idol” by fictional boy group Saja Boys jumped nine spots to land at No. 14. Another catchy tune, “Soda Pop,” entered the chart for the first time at No. 17, making a powerful debut.
The animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters follows the story of HUNTRIX, a world-famous K-pop girl group who secretly fight evil spirits when they’re off stage.
It’s also the first animated movie made overseas that centers around K-pop idols, and fans from around the world are loving the mix of music, action, and K-pop fantasy.
Since its release, the film has gotten a huge global response and the soundtrack is turning into a chart-topping hit.
