The face-off between Huntrix and Saja Boys in KPop Demon Hunters is no longer just in the animated world — it's now happening in real life!
On July 22, the 2025 K World Dream Awards committee revealed that two hit songs from the Netflix animated series KPop Demon Hunters have been nominated for Best OST.
The nominated tracks are Golden by girl group Huntrix and Soda Pop by boy group Saja Boys — both of which have taken over music charts in Korea and even reached the U.S. Billboard rankings.
Huntrix’s Golden made headlines recently after landing at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, surpassing the legendary Frozen song Let It Go, which peaked at No. 5.

Meanwhile, the full KPop Demon Hunters OST album — which includes both Golden and Soda Pop — also reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart, proving the global power of these virtual idols.
In the animated series, Huntrix and Saja Boys went head-to-head at the fictional World Idol Awards. Now, fans are thrilled to see the two groups face off again — this time at a real award show.
The Best OST category also includes strong contenders like "If That Day Comes" by Tomorrow by Together and "Forever" by Do Kyung Soo (D.O. of EXO), both from the soundtrack of the hit tvN drama A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday (Eonseuljeon), which ended in May.
TXT’s If That Day Comes especially stood out thanks to its connection to the drama’s fictional idol group HI BOYZ, and fans loved the special M Countdown performance where TXT’s Soobin and Yeonjun teamed up with actor Kang Yoo Seok after the series ended.
The 2025 K World Dream Awards will take place on August 21 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa, Seoul, and the star-studded lineup includes BTOB, Stray Kids, TXT, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, FIFTY FIFTY, NCT WISH, tripleS, and more.
Bands like LUCY, Xdinary Heroes, QWER, and Dragon Pony will also hit the stage, along with solo acts like Park Seo Jin and Park Ji Hyun.
The event is hosted by the official K World Dream Awards committee and managed by YJ Partners. More details are expected to be released soon on the official site.
Get ready — it’s Huntrix vs. Saja Boys, round two… and this time, it’s for real!
