The Netflix animation KPop Demon Hunters is climbing higher than ever on the U.S. music charts!

On July 13, Billboard revealed that the KPop Demon Hunters original soundtrack album hit No. 2 on the latest Billboard 200 chart (for the week of July 19).

This marks a new personal best for the movie’s album, which first debuted at No. 8 and later climbed to No. 3.

The album’s popularity doesn’t stop there. The track Your Idol hit No. 1 on the U.S. Spotify Daily Top Songs chart on July 4 and ranked No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on July 8.

Another standout song from the OST, Golden, also hit No. 1 on Korea’s Melon TOP 100 chart on July 13.

KPop Demon Hunters is a fantasy-action animation about K-pop idols Lumi, Mira, and Joy who secretly fight demons while performing as global superstars.

Since its Netflix release on June 20, the movie has held the No. 1 spot in Netflix’s global Top 10 movies for 11 days straight, according to FlixPatrol.

With this momentum, many are wondering—could a No. 1 on Billboard be next?
