K-pop Demon Hunters is taking over the charts — and fans can't get enough.
On July 6, Billboard U.S. revealed that the original soundtrack (OST) for Netflix’s animated film K-pop Demon Hunters ranked No. 3 on the Billboard 200, marking a huge milestone for a K-pop-themed project.
This is a jump of five spots from last week. Billboard stated, “This album is the highest-ranking soundtrack on the chart this year and the highest-charting since Disney’s Encanto, which stayed at No. 1 for nine weeks back in 2022.”
The soundtrack’s popularity doesn’t stop there — it’s also blowing up on Spotify.
The lead track Your Idol grabbed the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Daily Top Songs chart. Other songs like Golden, Soda Pop, and Take Down are also holding high positions, proving the OST’s global reach.
Released on June 20, K-pop Demon Hunters follows the fictional girl group Huntrix — idols by day and demon slayers by night.
The film mixes K-pop culture with Korean-style occult fantasy and has been receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
With both the film and its music making waves worldwide, K-pop Demon Hunters is quickly becoming one of 2025’s biggest surprises — proving once again that K-pop can take over not just the stage, but the world.
