Some of Korea's top dancers just got real about the emotional rollercoaster of being on Street Woman Fighter 3 (SWF3).
On June 3, a new episode of Salon Drip 2 was released on YouTube channel 'TEO Taeo' featuring dancers Honey J, Lip J, and Lee Jung. These three, who appeared in SWF seasons before, returned this time as part of the new crew Beomjeop, which also includes big names like Gabi, Noze, Hyojin Choi, Monika, Aiki, and Lee Hyei.
While fans expected a powerful comeback from these pros, the dancers revealed they’ve been struggling behind the scenes.
Honey J admitted, “I asked myself so many times why I agreed to do this again. I even get flashbacks and stress when I hear the mission sound. It feels like PTSD.”
But she also shared, “Even though it was hard, I'm thankful for the experience now. I joined because the other leaders were doing it. When we're together, even the pain becomes something to laugh about.”
She also explained her emotional scene from the SWF3 teaser where she cried and yelled, “I hate this show!” She said the hate comments questioning her talent broke her. “When people asked, ‘Why is she seen as the best dancer?’ I mentally couldn’t handle it.”
Lee Jung chimed in, praising Honey J. “Even though we became known around the same time, she was already on top when I started dancing. She’s stayed there for a long time—that’s amazing.”
But it wasn’t just Honey J who struggled.
Lee Jung revealed, “For the first time ever, someone told me, ‘You can’t dance.’ I cried so much. I even felt ashamed to be trending No.1. But I realized—it means people know who we are now. Even if it’s harsh, feedback is a gift.”
Honey J added, “We’re not a real team that’s been together for years. We had just two days to make a performance. Mixing all our different dance styles was hard. Maybe we didn’t meet expectations, but we’re not ones to give up. We’ll do better.”
The dancers also shared moments of healing and bonding.
Honey J reunited with Lee Hyei, someone she hadn’t worked with in 8 years. “It was awkward at first, like meeting an ex. But now, she helps with choreography and gives me strength. I’m finally giving her the praise I couldn’t give back then.”
Lee Jung gave fans a glimpse into their dorm life too. “We only sleep two hours, and someone’s always complaining. But we still sit and chat together, and even sleep in the same bed because we hate being apart.”
Despite the hate and stress, the dancers say they’re stronger and closer than ever. And they’re not done yet.
“We’re not to be underestimated,” said Honey J with confidence.
