Ahn Hyo Seop is taking on his first chef role in the upcoming JTBC drama *The Final Table*.
On September 9, the production team released new stills of Ahn Hyo Seop as Kang Han, a Korean chef who has mainly worked at restaurants overseas.
*The Final Table* follows Korean chefs from around the world as they compete in *The Table: K Chef 2026*, a survival competition created to find the country’s top chef.
Ahn Hyo Seop’s character is described as a mysterious figure whose background is largely unknown. After going through an unexpected incident, Kang Han becomes the head chef of a restaurant called Familia and enters the cooking competition.
The role marks Ahn Hyo Seop’s first time playing a professional chef since his debut.
In the newly released photos, the actor appears in a clean white chef’s uniform at the competition venue. His confident smile, serious expression, and careful movements highlight Kang Han’s calm and professional image as an experienced chef.
The stills also give viewers an early look at Ahn Hyo Seop’s new transformation ahead of the drama’s premiere, with the actor presenting a more mature and focused style than some of his previous roles.
*The Final Table* is scheduled to premiere on October 24.
