Singer Jung Dong Won finally revealed his home worth 2 billion won that he bought without taking any loans.
On May 22, Jung Dong Won uploaded a video on his YouTube channel titled, "ep03. First Reveal! / Dong Won’s Dream House," where he gave fans a rare look inside his Seoul home in Hapjeong-dong.
He said, “I’ve never shown my house before while living here, but since this is my own channel, I decided to open everything.”

The house stands out with an all-black interior in the living room, bedroom, and kitchen. Jung Dong Won explained, “The bedroom is for sleeping, so I made the wallpaper black and dark.” He joked about his extra-large bed, “I move a lot when I sleep. Sometimes I get up on one side and fall off the other. So, I bought a bed big enough to roll around in.”
His dressing room, all black as well, was decorated when he was a teenager. He admitted, “I think my puberty wasn’t over back then. I had a strange idea that I needed to look tough, so I made everything black. But now it feels too dark, and I kind of regret it.”
About his kitchen, he said, “I can’t cook at all. I have frying pans, but I haven’t used them in 2 to 3 years. I don’t even know how to use the induction stove. I changed it when I moved in, so it’s almost new.”

He showed off a gaming room with a desk and said with a laugh, “I can study here if I want. I can even read books.”
Jung Dong Won also showed his Marine Corps uniform hanging on a chair. He said, “I bought it on Coupang. I dream about the Marine Corps. It feels like a place where tough guys gather. It’s just a dream, but since I can do five sets of pull-ups, I think I could go.”
He gave fans a look at his soundproof music studio. “Since I went to an arts high school, I don’t have books but I have instruments. I even kept the instruments from middle school when I majored in music.”
Jung Dong Won opened up about his past, saying, “I lived poor in the countryside when I was young. My dream was to own my own house once I succeed. This is my first house, so I’m very attached to it.”
He shared about his childhood home, “We lived in a ‘jaegak’—a small house built next to an ancestral shrine—because we didn’t have a proper home. We had debt and later lived with my family in a small room next to a cafe building in my hometown. That house was even on the TV program ‘Human Theater.’”
He added, “We weren’t well-off, so my sibling and I always wanted to buy a house without debt after earning money. Buying this house was the proudest moment for me.”
He continued, “Since I was 11, my grandfather took me to many events to gain stage experience. From then, my goal was to save money to buy a house. I think I carefully saved a lot.”
He said, “On the first day after moving, my younger sibling came to Seoul to see the house and stayed over. I felt proud. Even if others envy me, I don’t care. When I show my family and they say, ‘You raised him well’ or ‘He succeeded,’ I feel very proud.”
