BTS member Jungkook continues to make history on the global stage, proving his superstar power with his solo debut track Seven.
On the Billboard charts updated for May 3, Jungkook’s Seven ranked No.128 on the Global 200 and No.74 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart—rising in rank on both, months after its release.
With this, Jungkook has officially become the first and longest-charting Asian solo artist on both Billboard’s major global charts—92 weeks on the Global 200 and 93 weeks on the Global Excl. U.S., a new record that no other Asian solo act has achieved.
Seven was released in July 2023 and instantly became a worldwide hit. It topped the Global Excl. U.S. chart for 9 straight weeks and held No.1 on the Global 200 for 7 weeks. It also became the first song by an Asian soloist to top both charts at the same time for 7 consecutive weeks.

Jungkook didn’t stop there. His other singles like Standing Next to You and 3D also reached No.1 on both global charts, showing his strong presence and popularity around the world.
In the U.S., Seven entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No.1 and remained for 15 weeks—a rare achievement for a K-pop soloist. In the UK, it debuted at No.3 on the Official Singles Chart Top 100 and stayed for 14 weeks, making it the longest-charting K-pop solo song in UK history.
Seven also made waves on Spotify, the world’s largest streaming platform. It became the first and longest-running song by an Asian soloist on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart, staying there for 94 consecutive weeks.
That’s not all—Billboard named Seven the No.1 Global Summer Song of 2023, and it also topped Billboard’s 2024 International Power Players list as the most popular song in over 200 countries outside the U.S.
Jungkook is clearly not just a K-pop idol—he’s a true global artist setting records that go far beyond borders.
