  • Lee Jong Suk says he gets hot and shy easily, so he always carries a hand fan — even on dates with IU?

Lee Jong Suk might be known for his cool and calm image, but in a recent interview, he showed a much more relatable side — revealing that he always carries a portable fan because he gets hot and shy very easily.

On May 2, the Singles Magazine YouTube channel dropped a fun interview video titled “Pick-terview with Lee Jong Suk,” where the actor answered random fan questions and shared some of his personal habits.

When asked what he does first thing in the morning, Lee Jong Suk said, “I drink a glass of water and just lie still until I wake up fully. I usually stay like that on my side for 30 minutes. I really enjoy being half-asleep in bed.”

The actor also described his relaxed travel style, saying he prefers peaceful vacations over jam-packed schedules.

“I don’t like doing a lot of activities. Just enjoying pretty nature and staying somewhere nice is enough for me. I love eating too, so when I do go out, it’s usually to find delicious food.”

He mentioned Japanese soup curry and Thai green curry as his most unforgettable food experiences while traveling.

When asked what he’d do with a surprise day off, Lee Jong Suk explained, “If I’m still working on something, one day off doesn’t help much. But if I could rest, I’d probably sleep a lot and get ready for filming.”

On dealing with stress, he said it’s not one specific thing that helps him, but sometimes eating something tasty after dieting gives a bit of relief.

“I think most adult stress comes from relationships with people. For me, it goes away naturally when I get some rest.”

Finally, the Big Mouth star shared one item he always carries around — a portable fan. “I get hot easily and I’m also very shy, so I always carry a fan with me. Even now, I’m nervous doing this interview. If something unexpected happens or I get flustered, it really affects me.”

Fans couldn’t help but swoon over his honest answers and gentle personality, especially after he admitted how nervous he still gets despite his years of experience.

And now, everyone’s wondering… does he bring that fan with him even when going on dates with IU?
