• ZICO Makes Epic Return to Killing Verse After 5 Years

    Rapper and producer ZICO has made his long-awaited return to Killing Verse after five years! On November 12th, Dingo Music dropped a video of ZICO’s performance on their official YouTube channel, marking his comeback to the popular series.

    ZICO first appeared on Killing Verse in 2019, where his powerful rapping and unique voice captured the attention of fans everywhere. After receiving a huge amount of love from music lovers, he decided to return, greeting viewers with, “I’m back after five years. I’ll have fun rapping for you all.”

    This time, ZICO didn’t hold back. He performed fan-favorite tracks like “No You Can’t,” “Spot!,” and featured collaborations such as Sik-K's “Do Main 2020,” Epik High's “Rosario,” and Qm's “Ibe Chong.” His smooth delivery and live performance once again proved why he’s considered one of South Korea’s top hip-hop artists.

    In celebration of the 10th anniversary of his solo debut, ZICO will also hold his solo concert ZICO LIVE: JOIN THE PARADE at Seoul's Olympic Park Olympic Hall on November 23rd and 24th. During his Killing Verse performance, he teased fans, saying, "I have an exciting announcement to make," and continued, “I’m holding a concert for the first time in six years. I’ll see you on November 23rd and 24th at Olympic Park Olympic Hall,” building even more excitement for his upcoming shows.

    Killing Verse is a series where artists perform the “killing parts” of their hits live. The series has featured many popular artists, including Dynamic Duo, Heize, Jay Park, iKON, Psy, and many more, all of whom received explosive support from fans.

    Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
