Girl band QWER is making waves with their comeback! According to the Hanteo Chart, QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyun) sold an impressive 22,655 copies of their mini album Algorithm's Blossom on its first day, which was released on the 23rd.

With these first-day numbers, QWER is already on track to break their own first-week sales record, moving closer to becoming a major band with strong public recognition and a dedicated fanbase. Since the album just released, the final first-week sales are expected to rise even more.

Algorithm's Blossom tells the story of QWER creating a new destiny together, centered around the theme "the flower blossomed by algorithms." The band shares their journey of blooming while embracing love and pain across eight tracks, including the title track My Name is Clear.

In their comeback, QWER has charted all tracks from the album on Melon's HOT100, with My Name is Clear hitting number one on Bugs' real-time chart. The song also reached second place on Melon's HOT100 and twenty-first on Melon's TOP100, marking a successful triple hit.

The music video for My Name is Clear has already surpassed 3 million views, ranking first on YouTube's trending videos and in top music trends.

QWER continues to show impressive growth on various charts with each comeback, solidifying their status as a "favorite girl band."

Their mini album's title track Addicted to Worry has stayed on Melon's monthly chart for five months, hinting that My Name is Clear will also perform well on major domestic charts.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
