Song Hye Kyo is drawing attention after giving Fin.K.L member Lee Jin a luxury vase, once again showing the close friendship between the two stars.
On August 17, Lee Jin shared a photo through her Instagram Story along with the simple message, “Thank you.”
The picture showed a decorative vase that appeared to be a gift, while Song Hye Kyo’s social media account was tagged alongside it, indicating that the actress had sent the present.
According to the report, the vase is from a French handmade ceramic brand. Its overseas retail price is reportedly around 300,000 to 400,000 won, while prices at official Korean boutiques and select shops can reportedly range from approximately 600,000 won to 1 million won depending on the size and model.
The gift also brought renewed attention to Song Hye Kyo and Lee Jin’s longtime connection.
The two attended the same high school, Eunkwang Girls’ High School, with Lee Jin reportedly one year ahead of Song Hye Kyo. Their friendship has continued well beyond their school years.
Song Hye Kyo previously celebrated Lee Jin’s birthday on social media in March, offering another glimpse of their close relationship.
The actress is also known to have friendships with other Fin.K.L members. She has attended musical performances featuring Ock Joo Hyun, while Ock Joo Hyun has also publicly mentioned her friendship with Song Hye Kyo in the past.
Lee Jin debuted as a member of Fin.K.L in 1998, and the group has remained one of the best-known first-generation K-pop girl groups.
While the reported price of the vase attracted attention, the gift also highlighted the lasting friendship between Song Hye Kyo and Lee Jin, who have known each other since their school days.
