• Jung Hae In Responds to Real-Life Dating Rumors with Jung So Min: "No Comment"

Actor Jung Hae In has opened up about his close bond with co-star Jung So Min, with whom he's currently starring in the hit tvN drama Love Next Door .

The actor sat down for an interview on the 11th at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, where he talked about his latest projects and the rumors swirling around his off-screen relationship with Jung So Min.

Jung Hae In is currently promoting his new film Veteran 2, an action-packed crime thriller directed by Ryu Seung-wan. In the movie, Jung Hae In plays rookie detective Park Sun-woo, who partners with veteran detective Seo Do-cheol, played by Hwang Jung-min, to catch a dangerous serial killer.

he movie marks a fresh start for Jung Hae In in the action genre, but fans are just as invested in his sweeter, more romantic side on Mom's Friend's Son.

"It's been so long since I’ve taken on a role where I can smile," Jung Hae In revealed. "I think the last time was in 2019 or 2020. After heavy dramas like Snowdrop, Connect, and D.P., it’s refreshing to see myself smiling on TV again." He teased fans, saying, "The drama is reaching its climax, and there are plenty of sweet scenes still to come, so you can definitely look forward to that."

When asked about his chemistry with Jung So Min, he had nothing but praise for his co-star. "So-min and I are only a year apart in age, and since we play childhood friends, I thought that if we didn’t become close, our acting might come off awkward. So we made an effort to get to know each other before filming. We’re both introverts, but when introverts become friends, there’s this unique connection. Now, we’re super comfortable with each other, and it really feels like we’ve known each other since we were kids."

Jung Hae In went on to explain how well they get along on set. "We have great 'tiki-taka' (back-and-forth banter), and we joke around a lot. Normally, I don’t joke that much, but she’s really good at playing along. On set, So-min’s leadership really stood out—she guided me and made me feel comfortable, so I could trust and rely on her."

Of course, with their undeniable chemistry, fans are already speculating about the possibility of the two dating in real life. When asked about these rumors, Jung Hae In laughed and said, "I guess our chemistry is so good that people think that way. Not just in the drama, but in the promotional videos and behind-the-scenes clips, people say we look great together." He added with a grin, "As for dating in real life, I won’t make any comments on that."

Meanwhile, Jung Hae In's action-packed film Veteran 2 is set to hit theaters on September 13.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
