• Sleepy Reveals BTS's RM Gave Him a 10 Million Won Wedding Gift, Thanks to a Special Connection

On the August 11th episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show 'The Return of Superman,' Sleepy shared a heartwarming story involving BTS's RM and fellow artist DinDin.

During the episode, viewers got to see DinDin's nephew Niccolo meet Sleepy's 106-day-old daughter, Wooah, for the first time.

As they spent time together, DinDin talked about his close bond with Sleepy, saying, "We’ve known each other for about 10 years. We've been through so much together—failures, successes, tears, and joy. I even know all the details about how Wooah came to be. Without me, there wouldn’t be Wooah," he joked.

Sleepy expressed his deep appreciation for DinDin, saying, "Honestly, I see DinDin as an older brother. From the moment we met, he has always taken care of everything, paying for meals and more. After I got married, he gave me a big gift, like a refrigerator. That’s when he truly became an older brother to me."

DinDin went above and beyond, buying most of the household appliances in Sleepy’s home, including a refrigerator, microwave, speakers, and a clothing care device.

But the biggest surprise came when Sleepy revealed, "If I’m being honest, RM tops the list when it comes to gifts. He sent me 10 million won in cash as a wedding gift," leaving everyone stunned.

DinDin then explained the special connection between Sleepy and RM. "When RM was rapping in the underground scene and forming BTS, he asked Sleepy if he knew anyone good, and Sleepy introduced RM to him."

He added, "Later, RM sent a message to Sleepy after hearing about his marriage and asked for his account number. Even though Sleepy said, ‘It’s okay, it’s okay,’ RM still sent 10 million won with a simple 'ding-dong.'"

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
