• Cha Eun Woo confesses how he was nervous fans might leave him after performing at 'Waterbomb'

    ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun Woo recently opened up about his experience performing at 'Waterbomb 2024.'

    On July 22, the 'GQ Korea' channel released an interview video with Cha Eun Woo. He shared his thoughts on taking the stage at the popular event.

    Cha Eun Woo dazzled fans with his looks and energetic performance at 'Waterbomb 2024.' When asked if he had watched any videos of his performance, he said, "I haven't seen the fancams, but I saw the photos and videos fans uploaded."

    At first, he was hesitant to watch the video, saying, "I don't really want to watch it," but then he focused on reviewing his performance.

    He admitted, "Honestly, I was very nervous. I kept wondering if it was appropriate for me to be there, and that made me even more anxious."

    He added, "During the performance, I couldn't really hear the audience's reactions. It was only after coming off stage and seeing the fan uploads that I realized how much they were cheering. I didn't notice any of it while I was on stage."

    Cha Eun Woo also recently held his largest solo fan concert tour since his debut. The tour, titled '2024 Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator] Encore in Seoul,' took place at the SK Handball Stadium in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, on July 6.

    This came after his main performances in 10 cities across Asia and South America from February to July. The encore performances in Japan and Seoul wrapped up successfully.

    Additionally, Cha Eun Woo starred in the MBC drama 'Wonderful World,' which ended in April, continuing his busy career as both a singer and actor.

    Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
