Actor Yoon Kyung Ho shared a lighthearted family story involving the gold gift he received from his Agent Kim Reactivated co-star So Ji Sub.

During an interview following the SBS drama’s conclusion, Yoon Kyung Ho revealed that So Ji Sub sent him the gold through his manager.

“Ji Sub gave me the gold through my manager. I did not expect him to include me, so I was surprised and grateful,” the actor said.

So Ji Sub reportedly gave one don of gold to each of approximately 300 cast and production team members who worked on the drama. The gifts were said to have a combined value of around 100 million won.

Yoon Kyung Ho explained that his eight-year-old son immediately became interested in the gift.

“My wife and I were hugging because we were so thankful, but our son asked us to give him the gold,” he recalled. “Even after I explained that it was real gold and that we could not simply give it away, he cried and continued asking for it.”

The actor eventually allowed his son to keep the gold in a drawer under his bed, a private place known only to them. In return, his son agreed to check every day that the gift was still safely stored.

However, the gold later returned to Yoon Kyung Ho in an unexpected way.

“My birthday was recently on July 5, and my son gave the gold back to me as a birthday present,” he said. “I think checking it every day may have become a little stressful for him.”

Yoon Kyung Ho shared the story in a casual and humorous tone, describing the moment as a memorable result of So Ji Sub’s thoughtful gift.

In Agent Kim Reactivated, Yoon Kyung Ho played Park Jin Chul, a former special operations agent and Marine who added humor to the action drama. The series recorded a personal-best rating of 23.1% and ranked No. 1 in Netflix’s global non-English TV category for three consecutive weeks.
