• "Cancel-culture is disgusting!" — Fans defend actors Ji Soo and Shin Seung Ho amid criticism for clubbing in Manila

Actors Ji Soo and Shin Seung Ho are making headlines after a video of their visit to a club in Manila surfaced, dated December 10, 2023.

The clip, which gained attention on TikTok in January 2024, has sparked discussions among Korean audiences.

In the video, Shin Seung Ho is seen without a mask, wearing sunglasses and a cap, while Ji Soo is cautious, keeping his mask on throughout the visit.

The duo's presence caught the eye of many, with Ji Soo even removing his cap to shield his face when he realized people recognized him.

Despite a fan's request for a photo, Ji Soo left quickly after being tapped on the arm by someone who seemed to recognize him.

Contrary to criticism, some netizens defended Ji Soo, pointing out that he had faced public backlash earlier due to accusations of school bullying and sexual assault in March 2021.

His contract with his company was terminated in May 2021, leading to his enlistment in the army later that year.
