• "I find him cute" — Netizens feel bad for RIIZE's Sohee for receiving hate particularly those targeting his looks

RIIZE's Sohee recently became a hot topic due to the negative comments he received.

On October 10, a post about Sohee started trending on Nate's Pann community board with the title, "I Really Don't Know if Rise Sohee Is That Bad…".

The person who wrote the post expressed their concern, saying, "People have been criticizing him a lot, but I wonder if he's really that bad. To me, he looks like an ordinary idol, nothing more."

They continued, "But honestly, it's just too harsh, and it's a pity."

    Other netizens shared their thoughts:

"Just look at the pictures where he's smiling. He stands out among the 3 MCs on MCountdown, and he's a talented idol."

"The photos they're sharing to criticize him are from a distance and have poor quality. Why don't they show close-up shots?"

"I don't pay much attention to looks, but it's disheartening to see people hate on him. I'm sure there are many who feel the same way."

"Ignore those negative comments; they're just twisted. I find him cute, and he excels on stage with his singing and dancing. Being a trainee for a year and a half is impressive!"

"We should raise our standards. Comments like these are affecting the standards for male idols. There are plenty of talented male idols out there. Just check Instagram, even the main accounts, not just fan accounts."

"Sohee is more popular than people think. It's better not to engage because haters are fueling the controversy. Look at the increase in his followers due to this situation; you'll see."

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
