BTS’ official merchandise has become the subject of an illegal sales issue after an unauthorized listing for the group’s SWIM single CD was reportedly found on a Chinese online shopping platform.
The issue was raised after overseas fans reported that the BTS SWIM single CD was being sold through Temu, despite the item only being officially available through authorized platforms such as Weverse Shop.
Professor Seo Kyung Duk revealed that the product was being advertised online and criticized the unauthorized sale, stating that selling unlicensed BTS content for profit should stop.

He also pointed out that while online platforms may provide the marketplace, allowing illegal products to be displayed and sold remains a problem.
This is not the first time BTS-related unauthorized merchandise has drawn attention. Previously, illegal goods featuring BTS-related designs were reportedly sold on other overseas shopping platforms, including products using Korean cultural symbols without permission.
The official SWIM single CD remains available only through authorized BTS sales channels, and fans are being advised to be cautious when purchasing merchandise from unofficial sources.
