• Netizens wonder how Cha Eun Woo wasn’t snatched up by a “Big 3” company despite incredibly talented and super visuals

In K-Pop, the Big 3 companies—SM, YG, and JYP—are known for having idols who are both very talented and good-looking.

These things aren't unique to these companies, but they are known for having a lot of trainees and only letting the best ones make their debuts.

On October 31, Netizens talked about why they did think ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo wasn't picked up by one of the "big three" entertainment agencies, like SM, JYP, or YG Entertainment, despite his stunning looks and body.

On the online community discussion board, a user wrote, "With just his looks and body, he could have easily joined NCT, TREASURE, or Stray Kids, even if he didn't have any talent."

In response, some of the comments from netizens were as follows:

Not because he couldn't go, but because Fantagio took him.

It's like taking someone hostage. Before he realized what was going on, Fantagio was able to convince him and quickly take him in.

If he had gone to SM, he might not have been able to go to college, which would have been terrible. I think that people with their own skills should go to a middle-sized company.

Even actor Won Bin left the company SM.

Even if you say he isn't good at anything, his looks make him a star.

God bless SM, he didn't mess up his face. If he'd gone to SM, he would have done something more to his face for sure.

I can't really think of anybody else besides Suzy and Cha Eun Woo whose looks alone really made a big deal.

I hope Fantagio is nice to Cha Eun Woo. I would treat Cha Eun Woo like my own son if I were the CEO of Fantagio.

Instead of joining the NCT, it would be better for him to go to a middle-sized company.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
