IU has celebrated her long-lasting friendship with actress Yoo In Na by sharing special memories and a heartfelt message dedicated to her longtime friend.
On September 15, IU posted a video on her official Instagram featuring moments shared with Yoo In Na over the past 16 years.
The video included photos of the two from their early days together to more recent memories, showing their close bond throughout the years.
Along with the post, IU wrote messages including “Dear my crazy soulmate” and “Sure YOO IN NA we best soulmate,” expressing her affection for Yoo In Na.
The video featured IU’s song Dear my crazy soulmate, a double title track from her digital single From This Star, which was released on September 10.
IU previously revealed that the song was written for Yoo In Na by adding “To Yoo In Na” in the song introduction.
The lyrics of Dear my crazy soulmate also reflect IU’s feelings toward her longtime friend, expressing the desire to continue accepting and supporting each other for many years.
The two stars first became close after appearing together on SBS variety show Heroes in 2010 and have continued their friendship as one of the entertainment industry’s well-known celebrity friendships.
Meanwhile, From This Star marks IU’s first new release in about a year and serves as a pre-release track for her upcoming sixth full album.
