According to reports on October 31, Lee Sang Yi will appear in episode 13 of the weekend drama, which is approaching its finale with only two episodes remaining.
His appearance is especially meaningful because he and Ahn Eun Jin have been close friends since their university days at the Korea National University of Arts (K-ARTS). Meanwhile, newly released drama stills show Lee Sang Yi sitting across from Ahn Eun Jin's character, Lee Mi Do, at a table. Lee Sang Yi's character appears excited during their conversation, while Lee Mi Do watches him with a calm expression.
The production team has not revealed the identity of Lee Sang Yi's character or how he will be connected to Lee Mi Do, leaving viewers curious about his role in the remaining episodes.
This is not the first time Lee Sang Yi has made a special appearance to support a university friend.
He previously appeared in the film Love in the Big City to support actress Kim Go Eun, another member of K-ARTS' well-known class of 2010.
