BTS member j-hope has received a special gift from Brazilian ARMY, who created a massive mural featuring his face near the group's concert venue in São Paulo.

The mural was completed ahead of BTS' ARIRANG world tour concerts at MorumBIS Stadium, scheduled for October 28, 30, and 31.

The project, called Hope in Motion, was organized by Brazilian j-hope fanbases that spent nearly six months raising money and preparing the artwork as a tribute to the singer.

The initiative was first announced on X in May, with fans encouraging donations and fundraising activities to help bring the mural to life.

One fan described the project as a tribute to "the most Brazilian Korean in the world," highlighting j-hope's special connection with his Brazilian supporters.

Originally planned for another location, the mural was later moved closer to the stadium to improve safety and accessibility for fans attending the concerts.

Photos and videos shared on social media showed a large portrait of j-hope wearing sunglasses and pointing forward, surrounded by pink clouds, dancing figures, red stars, and colorful graffiti.

The artwork also celebrates j-hope's passion for dance. One video showed a dancer performing breakdancing moves in front of the mural.

Brazilian fans expressed excitement as the artwork came together.

One fan wrote, "I don't think everyone realizes it yet, but we're in Hope World right now. It's becoming so beautiful."

The comment referenced j-hope's first mixtape, Hope World, released in 2018.

Another fan shared a message in Korean encouraging j-hope to see the mural, saying, "Even if it's from inside a car, this is something you have to see. Your own universe is unfolding."

Other supporters reacted with emotional messages, including "I'm already crying. It's so beautiful," while thanking the organizers for their efforts.

The celebration will also include activities around the mural during BTS' three concert dates. Organizers announced plans to distribute 5,000 j-hope fans to concertgoers with floor tickets on October 31.

Interestingly, Brazilian fans have also given j-hope the affectionate nickname Rafael, which appears in local fan communities dedicated to the BTS member.

One fan even jokingly called out, "Come running here, Rafael, run!" after seeing the mural.

With months of preparation and support from local ARMY, the large-scale artwork has become a special welcome gift for j-hope as BTS brings its ARIRANG world tour to São Paulo.
