Veteran South Korean fashion designer Jin Tae Ok, who is still actively working at 93 years old, has revealed her love for K-pop, naming BTS' Jungkook and ALLDAY PROJECT among the artists who inspire her.

On October 28, Jin Tae Ok appeared on episode 366 of tvN's variety show You Quiz on the Block, where she spoke with host Yoo Jae Suk about her lifestyle, interests, and how she continues to stay active at her age.

During the conversation, the legendary designer shared that she regularly watches performances by younger artists, paying close attention to their unique styles and stage presence.

"I watch their performances a lot. I really like ALLDAY PROJECT, especially Annie and Tarzzan. Their contrasting combination is so beautiful," she said.

However, it was BTS member Jungkook who gave her one of her most memorable reactions.

Jin Tae Ok recalled watching Jungkook perform during BTS' halftime show at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, revealing that his dancing and energy left a strong impression on her.

"When Jungkook performed at the World Cup halftime show, his dancing was so cool. You know when he says 'Let's go' in the middle?" she shared.

She then revealed how excited she became while watching him.

"I was lying down, but I suddenly jumped up. I thought, 'I'll go anywhere, too! Let's go!'" she said, making Yoo Jae Suk laugh.

Her enthusiastic reaction showed how Jungkook's performance inspired even one of South Korea's most respected fashion designers.

Beyond her interest in K-pop, Jin Tae Ok also shared how she maintains an active lifestyle at 93.

She explained that she swims twice a week, combining swimming with approximately 500 meters of walking in the water. She also drinks six cups of green tea daily, saying that warm tea helps her feel relaxed and mentally calm.

Despite her long career in fashion, Jin Tae Ok continues to find inspiration in younger generations, with BTS' Jungkook and ALLDAY PROJECT becoming part of the music and performances she enjoys watching.

Her appearance on You Quiz on the Block offered a glimpse of how the veteran designer stays connected to modern entertainment while maintaining her passion for creativity and fashion.
