SEVENTEEN members Jeonghan and Joshua have achieved another major milestone as their first unit mini album, DREAMSCAPE, reached No. 1 on Japan's Oricon Daily Album Ranking, following their record-breaking debut sales in South Korea.
According to the latest Oricon chart released on October 21, DREAMSCAPE went straight to No. 1 on the Daily Album Ranking dated October 20, marking another achievement for the duo just days after the album's release.
The Japanese chart success comes after Jeonghan and Joshua made headlines for selling more than 650,000 copies of DREAMSCAPE on October 19, its first day of release.
According to Hanteo Chart data cited in Korean media reports, the album recorded the highest first-day sales for a K-pop unit album, setting a new benchmark for unit releases.
Now, the duo's popularity is also showing through their performance on major Japanese music platforms.
In addition to topping Oricon's Daily Album Ranking, DREAMSCAPE reached No. 1 on LINE MUSIC's real-time Album Top 100 chart.
The album also ranked No. 2 on LINE MUSIC's daily album chart dated October 20, showing continued interest from Japanese listeners.
Meanwhile, DREAMSCAPE claimed No. 1 on Japan's iTunes Top Albums chart and No. 5 on Apple Music Japan's Popular Albums chart.
These achievements highlight the album's strong performance across both physical album sales and digital music platforms in Japan.
The success follows an impressive start in South Korea, where DREAMSCAPE also topped Hanteo Chart's daily album ranking.
Internationally, the album entered the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart at No. 6, adding another achievement to the duo's debut promotions.
The album's title track, 12 o'clock, has also received attention since its release.
The song entered the upper ranks of several Korean and international music charts and appeared on Instagram's trending audio rankings.
Even before the album was released, the dance challenge for 12 o'clock had already attracted considerable attention online, recording more than 260 million views.
DREAMSCAPE is Jeonghan and Joshua's first mini album as an official SEVENTEEN unit under PLEDIS Entertainment.
The project highlights the two members' vocal chemistry while allowing them to explore different musical styles outside their activities with the full group.
Following their album promotions and music show appearances, Jeonghan and Joshua are also preparing to meet fans through a series of performances across six cities in South Korea and overseas.
One of the major stops will take place at Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan, on November 21 and 22, as part of their JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING] - JAPAN performances.
The November 22 concert will also be broadcast through live viewing events at movie theaters in Japan and selected international cities, including locations in South Korea, the United States, Singapore, and Mexico.
With DREAMSCAPE now reaching No. 1 on Oricon after setting a new first-day sales record for a K-pop unit album, Jeonghan and Joshua are continuing their successful start as a duo.
Their latest Japanese chart achievement adds to the growing list of milestones for DREAMSCAPE, demonstrating the strong support the SEVENTEEN members have received since launching their unit activities.
