BIGBANG member G-Dragon's Just Peace Foundation is extending its support to South Korea's military personnel and police officers through a special cultural program that will provide 300 people with free tickets to a hip-hop concert.

On October 21, the Just Peace Foundation and RED FRYS announced that they would jointly organize the RED FRYS Hero Recovery Program as part of the upcoming Gangwon RED FRYS 2026 music festival.

The event will take place on October 24 at Gyeongpo Beach in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, bringing together popular Korean hip-hop artists for a special performance.

Through the initiative, the foundation established by G-Dragon plans to invite 300 uniformed public service personnel, including soldiers, police officers, and coast guard members, to enjoy the concert without paying for admission.

The invitations will be arranged in cooperation with organizations including South Korea's Ministry of National Defense and National Police Agency, focusing on personnel serving in the Gangwon region.

The program is designed to give those who regularly work to protect public safety an opportunity to relax, enjoy music, and take a temporary break from their demanding responsibilities.

The initiative is part of the Just Peace Foundation's ongoing Hero Recovery project, which focuses on supporting the emotional well-being and recovery of uniformed public service personnel and their families.

Since 2025, the foundation has organized arts-based healing programs for firefighters and their families.

With the latest partnership, its cultural support activities will expand to include soldiers, police officers, and coast guard personnel.

Gangwon Land is also participating in the initiative by helping invite local police officers, firefighters, and coast guard members who previously took part in its Hero Shelter Program.

According to the organizers, the project aims to express appreciation to individuals whose work helps maintain public safety, while giving them an opportunity to recharge through music and entertainment.

In a joint statement, the Just Peace Foundation and RED FRYS explained the meaning behind the initiative.

They stated, "The peaceful daily lives we enjoy are protected by the efforts of many people who quietly dedicate themselves behind the scenes."

The organizers added, "We hope this concert will express our gratitude and support for those who work hard for the country and its people, while giving them a chance to enjoy themselves and recharge, even for a short time."

FRONTROW, the company responsible for planning and producing RED FRYS, also shared its support for the collaboration.

The company explained that opportunities to freely enjoy music and culture are made possible in part by people who dedicate themselves to protecting the public.

A representative stated, "Through this collaboration with the Just Peace Foundation, we have prepared a plan to express our gratitude and encouragement to military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and coast guard members serving in Gangwon Province."

FRONTROW also expressed hope that the festival would become more than a place to watch live performances.

The company said, "We hope RED FRYS will grow into a cultural platform that connects people and communities through music and delivers positive energy to those who dedicate themselves to our society."

The upcoming Gangwon RED FRYS 2026 will feature performances by several Korean hip-hop artists, including Dynamic Duo, Bumkey, GREE, Brown Tigger, Minos & Huckleberry P, Hanhae, Sleepy, Cheetah, Puffitboi, and Mangrove.

The festival will be held at the central square of Gyeongpo Beach, combining live music with the coastal atmosphere of Gangneung.

Although G-Dragon has not been announced as a performer at the event, his foundation's participation reflects its continuing efforts to support people working in public service.

By providing concert tickets to 300 service members and police personnel, the Just Peace Foundation hopes to offer a meaningful opportunity for rest while recognizing their contributions to society.

The RED FRYS Hero Recovery Program is scheduled to take place alongside Gangwon RED FRYS 2026 on October 24.
