EJAE recalled their early connection, saying, "We worked on a few songs together, but honestly, we spent most of our time feeling attracted to each other and connecting."

The pair initially maintained a professional relationship before Samuel eventually confessed his feelings, leading them to begin dating.

After years together, EJAE and Samuel decided to celebrate their marriage in Seoul to honor their cultural backgrounds and family traditions.

The wedding celebrations included a traditional Korean pyebaek ceremony and a welcome party featuring Korean fusion dishes. The couple also wore traditional Korean hanbok, adding a meaningful cultural touch to the occasion.

One of the most personal details of the wedding was the location where they exchanged their vows.

EJAE revealed that the venue had a special connection to her childhood and family.

"When I was young, my maternal grandparents lived in the house at the event venue," she explained.

By choosing a location connected to her grandparents, EJAE was able to celebrate an important moment in her life at a place filled with family memories.

Following the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds continued their celebration with a reception featuring dancing inside a glass greenhouse on the same property.

EJAE has gained international recognition through her contributions to the soundtrack of Netflix's animated film KPop Demon Hunters, which introduced her music to audiences around the world.

She is also the granddaughter of veteran Korean actor Shin Young Kyun, founder of the Shin Young Kyun Arts and Culture Foundation.

With their wedding in Seoul, EJAE and Samuel Kim marked a new chapter in their relationship while honoring the music, cultural traditions, and family memories that have been part of their journey together.
