Kim Yoo Jung’s new tvN drama 100 Days of Deception is showing strong early momentum, with its ratings making a sharp jump after just one episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 2 of 100 Days of Deception, which aired on October 11, recorded an average nationwide rating of 7.6% among paid households.
The result placed the drama at No. 1 in its time slot across cable and general programming channels.
More notably, the rating increased by 2.3 percentage points from the drama’s 5.3% premiere rating on October 10.
Reaching the 7% range in only its second episode gives 100 Days of Deception a strong start as tvN’s 20th-anniversary special weekend drama.
The series stars Kim Yoo Jung alongside Park Jinyoung, Kim Hyun Joo, Lee Moo Saeng, Jin Seon Kyu, and other cast members. Set in 1932 Gyeongseong, the drama follows characters caught in a dangerous web of secrets, missions, and shifting relationships.
Episode 2 continued developing the central conflict while introducing new complications, but the biggest result from the broadcast was the noticeable ratings increase.
With 100 Days of Deception rising from 5.3% to 7.6% in a single episode, attention is now on whether the drama can maintain its momentum and eventually break into double-digit ratings.
